This 24″ x 66″ beauty was juried into a national show a couple years ago. I knew this piece had a special home but it took an exercise in patience to see where it would eventually land. It is now sold and hanging in the Porter Hospice Residence in Littleton, CO. It is my desire and an honor for my paintings to continue to sell to public healthcare spaces. What an opportunity for my paintings to bring a sense of peace and hope to those experiencing personal health challenges and hardship.
This story behind this piece titled, Emerge– “The process of change is revealed in this painting. Botanicals, transforming from shadows of organic shapes, emerge into the light. Hints of water symbolize a spiritual cleansing while the soft gentle light represents an awakening.”
